How it works
The One Button is a single advertising slot shaped like a giant button. Whoever pays the most controls where it sends every visitor.
1. One button, one owner
The homepage shows exactly one button. It carries the current owner's name, logo and a 40-character message, and it links straight to their destination.
2. Pay 5% more to take it
The minimum next bid is always the current active bid multiplied by 1.05, rounded up to the next cent. Payment is instant — the moment it clears, the button becomes yours.
3. Every click is yours
Clicks are counted while you hold the button and shown publicly on the timeline and in the Hall of Fame.
4. Midnight reset
Each round runs from 12:00:00 AM to 11:59:59 PM in America/New_York. At midnight the price resets to $1.00 and whoever held the button last is crowned that day's champion.
5. Race conditions
If two companies pay at the same moment, the first payment to clear wins. The other payment is refunded in full automatically and never activates.
